Philippe explains how the WaveSurfer elevates the guest experience:

“The Up2Play complex is an indoor multi-activity complex that includes seven different activities, including the surf simulator, WaveSurfer. The big advantage of this activity is that it serves as a major draw. It’s a visually striking activity that captures the attention of the various customers right from the entrance of the complex. It’s something our visitors don’t see every day. It's really something that stands apart from the other activities we offer. It’s a bit out of the ordinary so that’s a big added value too. It’s also a show for everyone in the complex. As soon as the WaveSurfer turns on, we notice quite a lot of curious people coming in, many of whom are seeing this activity for the first time.”

In a coastal city like Les Sables d’Olonne, renowned for its watersports, Philippe highlights the relevance of the WaveSurfer:

“We’re in a seaside resort, where there are a lot of surfers and a lot of people who practice water activities, and they want to test the indoor surf wave. The great thing about the WaveSurfer is that you don’t need to be a surfer to have fun. With bodyboarding, which is really accessible to everyone, customers can experience a new sensation. They come out of there with a smile, feeling proud of themselves, they’re happy.”

Philippe also appreciates the WaveSurfer’s ease of integration:

“We have a very good relationship with WaveSurfer. It’s an activity that requires a bit of know-how. So right from  the start, we had a training course for our teams lasting several days to learn not only how to practice bodyboarding or surfing, but also how to teach it and give advice to customers. In respect to the initial setup, daily maintenance, and technical aspects like motors and pumps, we’re very satisfied.”
