Nicolas, Manager at Nicki Surf, shares his experience with the WaveSurfer partnership:
"Our experience with WaveSurfer is a partnership in which we have ongoing support, in activities, team training, equipment maintenance, and the purchase of bodyboard or surfboard equipment. It's a top-notch partnership. We're also planning birthday-type events, where we’ll be welcoming children in groups of 10 to 20, where they’ll be practicing bodyboarding and surfing with our instructors, as well as playing games around the WaveSurfer. And also having a moment dedicated to them so they can have fun, enjoy themselves and eat cake in a chill, fun atmosphere."
Henri, surf instructor at Nicki Surf, speaks about his experience teaching on the WaveSurfer:
"The WaveSurfer was actually the first indoor surf wave I ever rode, and frankly, I was quite shocked by the power it could generate for the surf, and especially the cushioning you get when you land. It's a pretty complete wave, even if I haven’t been able to experience many of them myself. Since I’ve been an instructor here, it’s been a real treat.”
About the WaveSurfer’s accessibility, he adds:
“The wave is quite accessible. As you can see, we’ve got kids from the age of five all the way up to people of 80 years old who come to surf, stand on the board. It’s pretty easy. It’s a unique experience you won’t find in other environments. It’s fun and there's a lot of scope for learning."
