ÎLE DE LOISIRS
Cergy-Pointoise, France
'Île de Loisirs de Cergy-Pontoise' is an open-air and leisure centre located in the department of Val-d'Oise, just 32 km from Paris. It is one of the 12 leisure islands in the Île-de-France region, offering a variety of recreational activities in a natural setting.
Built in a meander of the Oise River in the heart of the Cergy-Pontoise agglomeration, this unique location has become a status symbol of the urban park for all the inhabitants of the area. Its accessibility allows it to welcome more than 746,000 people from the Île-de-France region during weekends and school holidays.
The centre features a WaveSurfer with 4 jets, consisting of 2 installations of 2 jets each, ensuring a fun and safe surfing experience.
“We especially want to offer the urban population a place of relaxation in a green environment. Therefore, it is important that our entertainment is accessible to a wide audience and, above all, safe. We—and our visitors—are very satisfied with the WaveSurfer attraction: 100% safe and fun for young and old.”
