AkOatys Water Park is the largest water park on the island of Réunion and a major tourist attraction, having welcomed over 700,000 visitors.
One of the main attractions is The Stream, a WaveSurfer installation realized in 2013. The semi-mobile surf wave machine is mounted in a full stainless-steel tank, ensuring durability and enhanced hygiene.
The operator charges a supplement on the entrance ticket, generating extra income. For those who wish to advance their skills, the Stream offers advanced bodyboarding and flowriding lessons, as well as competitions outside the park's opening hours.
